Learn how to use this amazing technique to create your own woodland scene in a day. Kate will guide you through the processes, and provide all the materials too. You may still like to bring a selection of fabrics to use on your design too.

Kate will show you how to create a background, cut and use the confetti and bond elements in place. She will demonstrate free motion embroidery and help you use this technique on your own work.  Ideally you will have some knowledge of free motion stitching, even if you are not an expert! (You will need an embroidery foot, and the option to lower the feed dog on your machine for this)  It is possible to use a straight machine stitch on this project, but free-motion will give you more flexibility.

You will need a sharp rotary cutter (new blade), a quilters ruler and cutting mat. Also your sewing machine and threads in woodland colours.

Other requirements will be sent nearer the day.

There is a lovely cafe at the School Green Centre, selling sandwiches, snacks, cakes and drinks. Free parking next to the centre.

The cost is £75 for the day.
