Half day workshop learning how to use e-textiles (electronic textiles) to make a fabric brooch which lights up. Hand sewing only.
Kate will introduce you to e-textiles – a range of components designed for sewing projects. You will learn to sew a circuit with an LED (Light) a switch, a battery pack and conductive thread. The brooch is made from felt and scraps, beads etc.
An alternative design is an e-textiles free standing flickering candle. Great as a Christmas project.
