Workshop : Blossom trees

Full day workshop making a landscape in fabric inspired by blossom trees . The finished piece will be approx: 50cm x 35cm.

Kate will guide you through the process of making a blossom tree scene similar in style to this example. This style uses the “confetti” technique which Kate will demonstrate. There is plenty of scope for individual outcomes and creativity. She will show you how to layer the fabrics, and use a fusible web to attach everything, as well as demonstrating free motion embroidery to finish the piece.

Kate will bring fabrics to buy on the day, plus backing felt and fusible web.
