Full day workshop making a winter landscape in fabric. The emphasis is on learning how to create the shadows in perspective with the sun behind the trees. The finished piece will be approx: 50cm x 35cm.

Kate will guide you through the process of making a woodland scene similar in style to this example. There is plenty of scope for individual outcomes and creativity. She will show you how to layer the fabrics, and use a fusible web to attach everything, as well as demonstrating free motion embroidery to finish the piece.

Kate will bring fabrics to buy on the day, plus backing felt and fusible web.
