Description
Wren and Butterfly is a smaller piece 28cm square, mounted and framed in white wood 40cm square.
The background is hand dyed and then stencilled with foliage shapes. Collaged on top are the flowers, more foliage and the butterfly and wren. Finally the piece is stitched with variegated threads using the free motion technique, and finished with a little hand embroidery.
