Description
I love Autumn walks, and take lots of pictures, but sometimes the photos I take seem disappointing against what I actually remember the place to have been like. I have tried to recreate the emotion as well as the colours that I feel when out in the woods.
This piece has quite a variety of fabrics in it – look out for a faint sparkle in the sky! Sheer fabrics are great for building up subtle layers of colour, and then collaged tree trunks, confetti leaves and even a bit of hand stitching all added to the depth. Its finished with lots and lots of machine stitching for extra richness and texture.
This piece is 60cm square in a white tray frame, with non reflective UV glass to protect the work.
