This large original piece comes mounted behind UV glass in a mottled pale grey contemporary frame

This textiles piece is inspired by an orchard full of apple blossom. It is made up from many layers of fabric, cut, collaged and stitched to create the intricate, detailed floral elements.
This gorgeous piece evolved in many layers, starting with some stencilling of foliage.
More foliage was then added as fabric collage – all hand dyed. Stitch is the final element which ties the whole piece together.
This piece is 40cm x 40cm, mounted and framed in a white wooden handmade tray frame with UV glass.
