Description
Misty Woodland was inspired by a walk through a local woods (Coombes wood) near where I live. I love using quite limited palettes of colours, and much of the fabric in the piece was dyed specially. I am also very interested in trying to capture misty backgrounds too, so I was experimenting here with some semi transparent fabrics to try to achieve that.
This piece is 50cm square, mounted and framed in a brown wooden handmade frame with UV glass. The frame size is 67cm square.
