DESCRIPTION:  \n\nCreate a winter landscape in a day with Kate. (Examples 
 shown are not representative of actual workshop pieces)\n\nThis will be a 
 wonderful creative and seasonal day working with fabrics\, threads and you
 r sewing machine.\n\nKate will show you how to choose suitable colours and
  fabrics to create a winter scene. Kate will have examples for you to copy
  or adapt as you wish into something unique to you. You will collage toget
 her layers of fabrics and learn how to create wintery trees using net and 
 stitching\, and shadows on snow. Kate will show how to get more depth in y
 our picture by using scale and perspective\, as well as seasonal foregroun
 d interest\, such as robins or seedheads.\n\nKate will provide a variety o
 f fabrics and backing felt\, bondaweb and other materials\, but you may li
 ke to bring some of your own fabrics and threads too.\n\nKate will demonst
 rate using free-motion stitch for this project and if you have some knowle
 dge of this it will give you more flexibility with your work. (You need a 
 machine with the ability to drop the feed dog\, and an embroidery foot)\n\

 ol Green Centre in Shinfield sells sandwiches\, cakes\, and drinks. Free p
